Privacy Policy

UmmahVeu (“the app”) is made by VEU, an independent software publisher registered in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and doesn’t do with your information. The short version: the app works without an account, shows no ads, includes no third-party analytics or tracking, and we never sell or share your data.

What we collect

Location. With your permission, the app uses your location to calculate your prayer times, Qiblah direction, and local weather. Your coordinates are processed on your device and shared only with the prayer-time and weather providers needed to compute those results. We run no servers of our own, so your location is never stored by us and is never linked to your identity.

Contact form. If you choose to message us through the in-app feedback form, we receive the name, email address, and message you enter. We use it only to read and reply to you. If you’d rather not share them, simply don’t use the form.

That’s all we collect. We do not collect analytics, usage tracking, advertising identifiers, your contacts, photos, or any other personal data.

What we don’t do

• No account and no sign-in. The app works anonymously.
• No ads and no ad networks.
• No third-party analytics or tracking, on or off the app.
• We never sell, rent, or share your personal information.

Services the app connects to

To provide its features, the app sends requests to a few trusted services:

• Prayer times are calculated by an Islamic prayer-time service that receives your coordinates to return times for your location.
• Weather is provided by a weather service that receives your coordinates to return local conditions.
• Qur’an text and recitations are loaded from public Islamic content sources; those requests contain the passage or reciter you’re viewing, not personal data.
• Contact-form messages are delivered through a form-handling service so your message reaches us by email.

These services process only what’s needed to answer each request and are not permitted to use your data for advertising or tracking.

This website

ummahveu.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and includes no third-party trackers. If you send a message through the contact form on our support page, it reaches us the same way the in-app form does, and is used only to reply to you.

Children

The app is suitable for a general audience, requires no account, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what’s described above.

Your choices

• You can allow or deny location access anytime in your device settings. If denied, prayer times and Qiblah rely on a location you set manually.
• The contact form is entirely optional.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
